Scholarship

Delbert “Dub” Ehret Scholarship Fund

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship assistance, to youth within our community, who want to belong to the Atchison Family YMCA / Cray Community Center. Dub, was the Executive Director of the Atchison YMCA. He retired from the Y after 39 years of service back in 1988, and was most well known as the originator of the “Boundary Waters” canoe trips, Teen Town, and countless Bean Suppers. Dub passed away at the age of 96 in November 2019, and was a pillar in our community.

Kasten Regan Memorial Scholarship Fund

An annual award given to a graduating student of Atchison High School, attending either college, (two or four year), or technical school. And further to a student with a Grade Point Average of 3.0, working during high school, and indicating financial need. Those interested / qualified, will be able to apply for this scholarship in April with the scholarship awarded mid May, every year.
