In partnering with local non-profits and causes, AACF now offers over 38 independent funds under our umbrella, 10 of which were established during the 2021 calendar year. Recent funds established include the Atchison Amelia Earhart Foundation Fund, the Clubs for Kids Scholarship Fund, the Muscotah Cemetery Fund, and the Salvation Army of Atchison Fund.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Atchison Area Community Foundation (AACF) created the 2020 COVID-19 Recovery Fund. The fund was initiated with a $25,000 matching grant from the Courtney S. Turner Charitable Trust just one month ago and has since received donations from dozens of local businesses and individuals throughout the Atchison area.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Atchison Area Community Foundation (AACF) has created the 2020 COVID-19 Recovery Fund, which is now active and accepting donations at atchisonfoundation.org. The fund was initiated with a $25,000 matching grant from the Courtney S. Turner Charitable Trust just one week ago and has since seen donations from several dozen businesses and individuals throughout the Atchison area.
