Atchison Bridge Builders Roundtable: Connecting Benedictine College & Atchison

Benedictine College and the city of Atchison share the same streets, businesses and future. Too often, though, they don’t share the same table.

Atchison Bridge Builders is a new group from the Atchison Foundation for the next generation of local leaders: people who see a gap in our community and want to close it. Each roundtable takes on one gap. We’re starting with the one between town and campus.

Benedictine students researching this very question for their Discovery Day project will join us. They’ll share what they’re learning and hear directly from the community they’re studying. Your ideas could shape their work, and theirs could shape ours.

Bring your ideas, your questions and a neighbor you haven’t met yet. Students, faculty, business owners, parents and anyone who calls Atchison home are welcome. We’ll talk through what’s working, what’s missing, and one or two ideas worth trying in the months ahead.

When: November 19, 2026
Where: 515 Lounge
Who: Open to next generation community members 21 to 40, plus Benedictine students

Building bridges of giving today, for a stronger Atchison County tomorrow.
